Step behind the scenes and discover what it takes to create the excitement of a professional sports game day! The Staten Island FerryHawks Production Summer Camp gives campers an exclusive hands-on opportunity to learn how a live sporting event comes to life from the people who make it happen every night.
Campers will work directly alongside the FerryHawks Production Team and explore all areas of sports entertainment including graphics creation, video board design, audio engineering, camera operations, live broadcasting, directing, music operations, and more! From creating content fans see on the big screen to learning how cameras capture the action, campers will experience the fast-paced world behind every pitch, promotion, and unforgettable ballpark moment.
Throughout camp, participants will use real industry equipment, receive instruction from professional sports production staff, and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the control room, broadcast setup, and entertainment operations at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park.
Important Note: To foster creativity, parents and guardians will not be allowed to attend camp. Snacks are permitted. Please bring a water bottle.

⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
$250 Per Camper (Recommended Ages 10-16)
Each camper will receive:
🎥 Hands-on training with professional production equipment
🎧 Experience in audio, graphics, cameras, broadcasting & directing
⚾ Exclusive behind-the-scenes ballpark tour
🧢 Official “Production Team” hat
🍽️ Lunch included each day
Special game experience on August 7th at 7pm!
The chance to work alongside the FerryHawks Production Team during a live game and see their hard work displayed for fans!
